Frederick County Fire and Rescue pulled an unconscious woman from a burning house early Monday morning in Frederick.
Responders were called to the home at 98 McMurray Street around 5:15 a.m. where they found fire and smoke showing from the front of the house, according to a news release from FCFR.
The woman rescued from the house was flown by a Maryland State Police helicopter to the burn center at Medstar Washington Hospital Center, the release stated.
According to the release, approximately 30 firefighters fought and extinguished the fire in about twelve minutes. One firefighter suffered an ankle injury during the fire.
The fire remains under investigation by the Frederick County Fire Marshal’s Office.
