Save in Duluth Mn.

At 02:18 this morning, the Duluth Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a vehicle in the water in the 400 block of Helberg Drive. Upon arrival, we found a mostly submerged vehicle in the slip behind Comfort Systems. Firefighters from Duluth Fire Rescue One made immediate entry into the icy water, and retrieved a lone male occupant from the vehicle at 02:25 hours. The patient was transported to a local hospital by Gold Cross Ambulance, and his condition is unknown at this time. No other occupants were found, and with the help of the Duluth Police Department the vehicle was stabilized until it was removed from the water at approximately 03:45. No other vehicles were involved, and it does appear as the male occupant was alone in the car. The US Coast Guard was also on scene.
