WEST CHESTER, OH (FOX19) â –
Firefighters rescued an elderly man when flames ripped through a condominium complex early Tuesday.
No one was hurt when flames broke out just before 6 a.m.,but the man kept sleeping despite smoke alarms screeching, said Barb Wilson, a township spokeswoman.
Firefighers broke out his window to evacuate him.
The fire damaged eight units before crews knocked it down. Thirteen residents are displaced.
The cause remains under investigation. A damage estimate has not been released.
The American Red Cross is assisting the displaced families
