CLEAR LAKE, Ind. (WANE) Firefighters rescued a woman from a fire that damaged two homes, a garage and shed Saturday afternoon.
Crews from the Fremont Fire Department arrived at 108 Sunset Court around 4:30 p.m. The fire had spread from one home to the neighboring house. One neighbor came outside and told firefighters there was a woman inside the house. Crews were able to get her out uninjured.
Firefighters said when they responded, the house was engulfed in flames. That house was destroyed in the fire, which was under control in 30 minutes. No injuries were reported.
Multiple crews were called for assistance including, the Montgomery Fire Department, Clear Lake Police Department, Steuben County Sheriff’s Office and NIPSCO. The Angola Fire Department was also called to standby.
