Women Rescued from Fire in Brentwood, CA

BRENTWOOD — A woman was rescued by firefighters during an apartment fire on Thursday afternoon, fire officials said.

Fire crews responded at 12:10 p.m. after the blaze was reported at 1275 Central Blvd., a fire dispatcher said.

Firefighters from East Contra Costa Fire Protection District rescued a woman from the home and she was taken to Sutter Delta Medical Center in Antioch to be treated for unknown injuries.

Firefighters had the blaze under control by 12:32 p.m. a fire dispatcher said.
