Rescues in Milwaukee from House Fire

Milwaukee firefighters rescued a family from a second-story balcony Wednesday night while fighting a two-alarm fire on the city’s northwest side, WITI (Channel 6) in Milwaukee reported.

The fire at an apartment complex in the 5300 block of N. Lovers Lane Road was reported about 7:30 p.m., according to a story posted on the station’s website.

Firefighters rescued a woman and her two young children, who were taken to a hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation, according to the station.
